I don't think there is any pressure on Sony with the price since they still have games that people want coming out.
In the end another price drop from Sony is a win for everybody.
I agree with what everyone is saying that Nintendo and Sony don't know to cut prices right since at the moment they are doing good.
I suspect Sony and Nintendo to cut prices later this year for the holiday season but the Wii sells good anyway and with some of Sony's big hitters coming a price cut isn't needed right now.

I understand where Steinberg is coming from and he is right that MS has captured their previous Xbox fanbase and there is nothing wrong with that.
Where the 360 hasn't done so hot in is the casual gamer which both Wii and a lot of PS2 owners are.
Its not doubt MS have stole a few since it was the only thing available at one time and it has good games.
I can understand where he's coming from. I think the same things sometime like you if you want to get in shape don't buy a game go to the gym or something.
On the other hand games like Wii Fit can be alot of fun with a bunch of people around and Nintendo has done a good job of catering to their audience if if that aren't as many titles for the hardcore after Smash Bros.
On that note I want to play Valkyria, that game is looking pretty good.
Decent article. I do agree that Sony's 1st and 2nd party games will begin to stand out even more. We've seen it already and those are the people I expect to really show what the PS3 can do later down the line.
That's not saying 3rd parties won't match or be better but I think with the way exclusives are this gen 1st, 2nd parties games and 3rd party who do exclusives will show the difference between the consoles in the years to come.

When I went to pick up Chains of Olympus at Gamestop (take this however you want it) when the guy asked to me if I wanted to reserve God of War III I asked if it had a release date and he said March 2009.
The guy also mentioned that they might do something special for pre-orders but like many were speculating here March 09 seems like a good bet for God of War III.
More remote play support would be nice for PS2 and PS3 titles.
Good job on R* to clear this up quickly. Its pretty much the same on both consoles lets just enjoy the game when it comes out.

All other reports I've read like some of people listed links in their comments that both version are pretty much the same. Buy the game for your console of choice and be happy. With 100 hours of gameplay I think we all will be tied up with this game for a while.
I think Heavenly Sword 2 would sell more if they came out and promised along with other improvements the games is going to be a lot longer then before.
Kai as the main character would be the best choice. I liked the ideas of the game being more interactive with the environment and downloadable weapons, enemies and and stuff though I hope it either free or maybe something like $2.99.

A lot of 360 owners might be getting the bundle for this one. The fact that this rumor never dies shows how much people want this game.
Your going to have to get a PS3 for this one, there is no way around it.
Its nice to Lost Odyssey hanging in there but I'm still concerned about its sales worldwide.
